HTTP Error 401.1 – Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.
You may see Access is denied errors after installing latest batch of patches. MS has a workaround for this issue – create DisableLoopbackCheck registry setting. Here is a link to KB article on this issue: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/896861
